Visiting Tamiya Shimbashi 2016.12.27
If you only had 1 day in Tokyo for Mini 4wd, this is the place to go. http://www.tamiya-plamodelfactory.co.jp/shimbashi/ The model store is truly overwhelming, with the level of detail that you'd expect from Tamiya. Mini 4wd and RC are in the basement store. There is a solid, stocked inventory of parts- and TONS of the latest car kits, OF COURSE! Stickers, tools and toolboxes, truly overwhelming shop. But then, upstairs is the circuit! Check out my attached circuit to hear about it, but in this diary- one more cool thing: FROGS! The fastest person out today had extremely sophisticated roller dampers- (plus Force Labo and F-Lev stickers). He also had great lexan cut bodies, frogs! He had a great *front* suspension system, much like my other diary post. Tamiya Plamodel Factory is a special place to see all levels of racer.
